CTP solution

The company announced that it has launched a wide range of products and systems at the Drupa 2000 exhibition, covering customer requirements for different businesses, applications and scales. Among them, the new generation of CTP solutions promoted by the company is more across all major imaging technologies, format, speed, print volume, and quality.

Among all the key products, the thermal and violet laser diodes are the two most popular types of Galileo platesetters. There are also new models of special large-format platesetters, rinse-free digital plates, and Sherpa inkjet proofing systems using Misomex technology. In addition, Agfa will also demonstrate its strong support for direct film and digital printing. In PrintCity in Hall 6, Agfa will simulate four different production environments and demonstrate its practical workflow, including publishing (newspapers and magazines), commercial printing, packaging printing, and digital printing. The goal of Agfa is to demonstrate that an open system is the only way to achieve true automation by demonstrating an environment that integrates multiple technologies. Workflow technology

At the heart of almost every workflow is the Apogee series 2-based production system based on the PDF file format. Agfa will introduce Apogee Create, a new feature of Apogee series 2, which allows designers to create PDF files suitable for the operation of the workflow.

As for the new PrintDrive feature is the Open Connect option, users can enter the TIFF file through the third process. Another innovation is the ability to quickly make a version, allowing the page to be modified at the last minute before copying. And you can activate pages or grouping methods right away when converting printers or bookbinding equipment.

Agfa will also demonstrate its IntelliNet Newsflow automated newspaper process system, which can handle the process of simpler, smaller local newspapers, as well as automate national newspapers or publications with multiple versions and different content.

Computer-to-plate scheme

Agfa will expand its series of computer-to-plate products, introduce violet laser visible light systems, high-speed thermal imaging systems and athim-ablative systems, which represents a great technological leap forward. Agfa announced new models of computer-to-plate systems including:
Galileo Talant - A breakthrough computer-to-plate system that uses a convenient, simplified cotton-based thermal plate-making process. Talant incorporates thermal ablation technology and Galileo's reliable open-face drum design.

The system uses Agfa's new Mistral media for imaging. Mistral is the first high-resolution, high-volume, rinse-free plate on the market. It is an aluminum plate with ablation thermal technology up to 300pi. The high resolution, not more than half a million printing roasting India, and the operation is simple.

Galileo thermal S - is a high-speed model of the internal drum thermal plate making machine Galileo Thermal, equipped with a stronger 15W 1064nm laser and a faster rotating motor (20,000rpm). The X-Calibur VLF can output 8.2 45 x 57 (1140 x 1450 mm) plates per hour, while the high-speed X-Calibur VLF can output 13.3 plates per hour. Both models use an efficient multi-beam solid fiber laser (830 nm) imaged on Agfa's Thermostar P970 Thermal Plate. Both systems are available in four formats: 50x45/60*50/70*55/80*58.

Galileo VS and Galileo VXT - two violet laser diode inner drum platemaking systems with extremely high productivity. The Galileo violet laser system is based on a reliable, advanced violet laser diode (wavelength 400 nm). This shorter wavelength brings an amazing imaging speed, bringing productivity and productivity to new heights. The Galileo VS can output 16 40.5” (1030 mm) 2400dpi plates per hour, and is available in a four-up format (the only four-on model in the Galileo series), allowing more printers to benefit from Galileo’s Reliability and Quality The high-speed Galileo VXT provides faster production speeds and can output 21 40.5” (1030 mm) plates per hour at 2400 dpi accuracy. Both systems use Agfa's latest Lithostar Ultra silver halide imaging, which is easy to operate under yellow security lights.

Polaris 200---Agfa has expanded its Polaris flatbed plate product line to provide more choice for the newspaper industry. The new addition to the Polaris series is the Polaris 200, which has two laser heads that can image two plates at the same time and can output up to 235 plates per hour at 1016 dpi. In addition, Agfa also has Polaris 100, Polaris 100E, Polaris 100L and other models. Polaris 100 can output 120 57*36 cm plates per hour at 1016 dpi. It can be used with pre-punched or back-punched plates. It can also be equipped with a pre-loader, making it more productive and easier to use. - The output potential is upgraded to 150 plates per hour. The Polaris 100L is a system that can be completely customized for the customer, more flexible and capable of outputting 85 pages per hour. All Polaris systems use high-quality photosensitive resin plates and silver halide digital plates for higher quality imaging.

Computer direct film program

Agfa will introduce its ImpowerPlus hard dot film series on PrintCity. Its characteristic three-layer structure improves the sharpness and stability of the hard point, and offers the advantage of being flushed as easily as the high-temperature fast film.

The Merdian P150 is the result of Agfa's commitment to combining the advantages of both Howson and Ozasol.

These new film products will be displayed in conjunction with Phoenix and Avantra output machines, as well as the Agfaline punching system.

Digital proofing program

The Agfa Sherpa Digital Inkjet Proofer adds two new models. The 54-inch-wide Agfajet Sherpa 54 is a large-format digital inkjet proofing system for proof-making. Six-color proofing capability and advanced color management system ensure accurate color output.
