Seventeen points of safety protection between gas busbars
1) The sulfur dioxide cylinders and nitrogen stations shall be Class A and Class B warehouses, which shall be set to the above ground type, and the fire resistance grade shall be Grade I and Grade 2. The fire prevention interval, electrical fireproof and explosion proof measures shall comply with the requirements of the building design fire protection code;
2) The cylinders belong to Class A and Class B plants (oxygen, acetylene) with explosion hazard, and pressure relief facilities should be installed;
3) The ratio of pressure relief area of ​​Class A and Class B plants with explosion hazard: acetylene should be ≥0.200;
4) The pressure relief facilities should adopt lightweight panels, lightweight walls and doors and windows that are easy to relieve pressure, and should not be used with ordinary glass;
5) In the case of acetylene gas cylinders and oxygen cylinders being ventilated to the busbars through the pressure regulator, an explosion-proof exhaust system and a flammable gas concentration alarm control system shall be provided;
6) The gas busbar system must be reasonably equipped with a tempering fuse, a gas valve, a check valve, a pressure reducing valve, a filter, and an accident discharge pipe;
7) The acetylene cylinders must be connected in an upright position. The cylinders connected to the busbars and supplied with gas should have the same pressure in the bottles.
8) The oxygen busbars can be connected to the acetylene busbars in the same building with a fire rating of not less than two, but should be separated by a firewall without doors, windows and holes.
9) The minimum clearance between the overhead oxygen pipeline of the plant and the workshop and other overhead pipelines shall comply with the provisions of Table 2.1 of GB50030-91 “Design Specification for Oxygen Stations”.
10) The minimum clearance between the acetylene gas pipeline and other overhead pipelines in the plant and workshop shall comply with the provisions of GB16912-1997 “Oxygen and related safety technical regulations”.
11) A safety water seal or flame arrester shall be provided on the gas transmission manifold of the acetylene busbar to the user.
12) The release or discharge of acetylene should be led to the outside, and the outlet of the outlet pipe should be higher than the roof ridge and must not be less than 1 m.
13) The empty bottle room and the solid bottle should be set separately. The bus bar can communicate with the empty bottle and the solid bottle through the door hole. Each should have an independent entrance and exit. When the number of real bottles does not exceed 60, empty bottles, solid bottles and bus bars can be arranged in the same room, but empty and solid bottles should be stored separately; the clearance between empty bottles, solid bottles and bus bars should not be less than 2m .
14) The arrangement of acetylene busbars should be compact and reasonable, easy to install, repair and operate, and should meet the following requirements: acetylene busbars should be arranged in a straight line, no corners are arranged; when double row is arranged, the clearance should not be less than 2m.
15) The height of the chord of the truss in the main production room between the acetylene busbars should not be less than 4m.
16) The acetylene tube and acetylene bus bar should have a grounding device for removing static electricity, and the grounding resistance should not exceed 10Ω.
17) The selection of valves and accessories for acetylene pipes and the connection of pipes, gas busbars should meet the following requirements:
(1) Valves and accessories shall be made of steel, malleable cast iron or ductile iron or a copper alloy material containing no more than 70% copper.
(2) The nominal pressure of valves and accessories shall comply with the following requirements:
A. When the working pressure of the acetylene bus bar is 0.02 MPa or less, 0.6 MPa should be used;
B, the working pressure of acetylene is 0.02MPa or more to 0.15MPa, when the inner diameter of the tube is not more than 50mm, 1.6MPa should be used, and when the inner diameter of the tube is 65~80mm, 2.5MPa should be used;

C, acetylene working pressure is from 0.15MPa to 2.5MPa, should not be less than 25MPa;
