Knightsbridge Penthouse
Tollgard Design Group was entrusted with merging two pre-existing apartments located on the 3rd and 4th floors of one of London 's most exclusive garden squares. Collaborating closely with Peek Architecture + Design, they transformed the space into a luxurious penthouse featuring 5 en-suite bedrooms, formal reception and dining areas, a professional chef's kitchen, a media room, and two tech-driven terraces offering breathtaking views of the cityscape. The final outcome reflects the vision of an extraordinary client who trusted their design team to push creative limits, experiment with innovative materials, and deliver something truly exceptional.
Danish Summer House
Designed as a summer retreat for a British family, the Fanø house embodies a distinctly Scandinavian design aesthetic . The concept of the "red thread," central to Scandinavian design thinking, serves as a shorthand for the creative DNA behind every project. By weaving together architectural cues, cultural history, environmental context, and the client's personality, Tollgard creates a cohesive framework that links architecture with interiors , and clients with their dream spaces.
Beaconsfield Family Home
Home to an internationally creative family, the Beaconsfield home combines open-plan living with eclectic collections, natural materials, and functional elements that support family life. One of the recurring themes, or "red threads," running through the design is the concept of functional sculpture. This is evident in the American-made lighting fixtures, the concrete basin, the metal-clad kitchen, the curving master bath , and the striking metal fireplace in the main reception room. Aged barn wood, polished metal, and natural fabrics bring warmth and softness to the architectural lines, blurring the boundary between indoors and outdoors.
Uncle
The 45-story residential tower by Uncle Living, designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, offers residents a dynamic and vibrant living experience with an expansive amenity level on the 45th floor, providing panoramic views of London . Tollgard Design Group was brought in to focus on the communal spaces and the interior design of the apartments. Drawing inspiration from theater, they infused the geometric urban landscape with elements of drama and surprise, creating a memorable and engaging environment.
Technicolor Kensington
At the heart of this Kensington residence lies a vibrant family life, which inspired Staffan and Monique Tollgård to infuse the home with a burst of technicolor energy. The interior design draws inspiration from the client’s diverse art collection, blending bold contemporary and traditional Ethiopian pieces into the design. Each room in the house takes cues from these vibrant works, incorporating their colors, textures, and tactile forms to create a harmonious and inspiring space.
Knightsbridge Splendour
Nestled within two adjacent listed buildings in Knightsbridge, this lateral apartment showcases Tollgard Design Group’s technical and creative prowess. The seamless integration of spaces results in a living experience that feels both effortless and transformative. Attention to detail, skilled craftsmanship, and rare materials come together to create a home that is not just stylish but also deeply personal.
