The Spot UV process of paper packaging is a common method of surface decoration. In order to protect the image and text on the paper, a layer of UV varnish was printed on a screen printing machine and then cured with a UV light curing machine to obtain a fine, partially UV paper product. Due to the high glossiness and strong three-dimensionality of the UV ink layer, the characters and images on the surface of the paper have been given the ultimate performance.
1) The Spot UV process can be carried out using a vertical-style plane screen
printer or an oblique arm style plane screen printer and then cured with a flat
UV curing machine.
2) A separate flat screen printer with a separate UV curing machine has a
slower printing speed. Adding a robot to the UV curing machine or screen
printing machine can significantly increase the printing efficiency while
reducing the labor intensity of the workers, which is currently the most
popular Spot UV processing.
