According to the provisions of China’s “Criminal Lawâ€, serious crimes involving the smuggling of solid wastes shall be punished with imprisonment of not more than five years and shall be punished with a fine or a single fine; if the circumstances are particularly serious, the sentence shall be imprisonment of more than five years and a fine shall be imposed.
