According to reports, the experimental sheep "Tianjiu" installed China's first implantable third-generation ventricular assist device-the magnetic fluid double suspension blood pump, which was successfully developed by the Eighteenth Research Institute of China Launch Vehicle Technology Institute and Taixin Hospital . As of press time, "Tianjiu" has been alive for 61 days, setting the longest survival record for implanting a third-generation ventricular assist device in China. At the same time, it was the first time in China to carry a battery and controller for free movement, which reached the clinical implantation of blood pumps. The simulated state marks a major breakthrough in the development of China's third-generation ventricular assist device.
Chronic heart failure is one of the most common and most harmful diseases in cardiovascular diseases, and it is the end-stage manifestation of many types of cardiovascular diseases. The price of a foreign device is nearly one million yuan, which makes domestic patients look forward to the "pump". Therefore, it is urgent to develop the third-generation domestic ventricular assist device with excellent performance and low price as soon as possible.
