Improvement of the method of measuring specific heat capacity by differential scanning calorimeter

The two sources of error when measuring the specific heat capacity of materials with a conventional heat flow DSC instrument, that is, the actual heating rate deviates from the programmed heating rate and the effect caused by the difference in quality between the sample aluminum plate and the reference aluminum plate After analysis, the correction equation for calculating specific heat capacity is derived. The first term H of this equation is not the ratio of the experimental heat flux value to the actual heating rate, and the second term is the correction term caused by the difference in the quality of the sample tray and the reference tray during the test, thereby improving the accuracy of the measurement results . Using this method to measure the specific heat capacity of water, benzoic acid and potassium chloride all get good results.
