X-ray detectors that reduce technical costs

Mettler-Toledo's new Safeline X-ray detector series 10 debuted in Europe. This machine is an entry-level device for the market and is aimed at food packers and processors who believe the cost of X-ray inspection technology is too high. The 10th Series detectors feature an easy-to-use operator interface with a 15-inch full-color touchscreen, allowing operators to use the machine with minimal training. This X-ray detector can detect a variety of contamination including metals, stones and glass. At the same time, the machine can provide basic weight estimation and package content detection.
