Originally founded by Jean Galli as a carpentry shop, the business has grown into a prominent name in interior design. His son, John, relocated the store to downtown Geneva, placing it closer to his clientele and showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of the Galli family. Under the leadership of John, Maison Galli continued to flourish and became a trusted partner for those seeking high-quality furnishings and personalized design solutions. In the mid-20th century, the company was taken over by René and Roger Lévy, who ensured the continuation of the Galli legacy while expanding its offerings. They introduced a second location near the train station, providing an even broader selection of products, including fine furniture from their renowned Gruyeria factory. During this period, Maison Galli also began offering expert decoration advice, further cementing its reputation as a leader in interior design. The arrival of Jacques Lévy marked another significant chapter in the company’s history. As the third-generation leader, Jacques oversaw the expansion of Maison Galli, including the opening of a new store in Bourg-de-Four in 2009, which eventually became the primary location. That same year, the company invested in a state-of-the-art workshop in Meyrin, replacing the historic Carouge facility. This move allowed Maison Galli to streamline its operations, combining carpentry, finishing, and upholstery services under one roof. Today, Maison Galli continues to thrive under the stewardship of the fourth generation, led by Joanna, Jacques Lévy’s daughter.
