According to the newly released import and export commodity category table of Ningbo Customs, the cumulative import and export volume of wood pulp, paper and paper products in Ningbo from January to September 2009 totaled 109.298 million US dollars, down 9.28% compared with the same period last year. Among them, from January to September 2009, the cumulative value of exports reached 665.09 million US dollars, and the accumulated amount of imports reached 427.89 million US dollars, up by 9.3% from the same period of last year and down 27.5%.
In September 2009, the total import and export volume of Ningbo wood pulp, paper and paper products totaled US$162.31 million, of which US$10.225 million was exported and US$60.60 million was imported, up 36.9% and 30.8% respectively over the same period last year.
