The National "Drone Remote Sensing Safety Testing Technology and Network Demonstration System Research" Project Launched

On April 2, 2013, the kick-off meeting of the theme project "Research on UAV Remote Sensing Safety Detection Technology and Network Demonstration System" in the field of Earth Observation and Navigation Technology of the National 863 Program was held in Beijing. The Hi-tech Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Remote Sensing Center, project experts and researchers of relevant subject-bearing units participated in the meeting.

This project is jointly undertaken by a number of advantageous units within the United Nations of the Institute of Optoelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Based on the results of the 11th Five-Year Plan for UAV Remote Sensing Comprehensive Verification System, the safety performance testing technology is mainly developed for mainstream civil remote sensing UAVs in China. 3. Research on evaluation system and operation mechanism, construct online testing facilities and field test environments with complete functions to meet the needs of normalized operation, realize fast response of UAV terminals, network collaborative management, mission planning and scheduling, on-site information acquisition and real-time processing, Establish an advanced UAV airborne remote sensing reliability, safety and load characteristics detection system and network demonstration system, laying the foundation for the early application and industrial development of key UAV remote sensing technologies.

At the meeting, researcher Tang Lingli, the chief expert of the project, first introduced the project background, implementation plan and overall deployment situation. The person in charge of each project gave a description of the target task, research content, evaluation indicators, innovative technology, expected results, implementation division, and funding of the subject. The budget and annual work plan were reported in detail. The project responsible experts put forward clear requirements on the subject interface, key nodes, plan progress, and stage results. Comrade Gaoxin introduced the background of the project and hoped that all member units actively explore the operational mechanism of the new UAV aerial remote sensing system, and effectively promote the development of large-scale, intensive application and industrialization of China's multi-type UAV remote sensing system.
