Three-phase five-column principle
The magnetic flux density of the core is selected to be above the saturation magnetic density, that is, the primary winding is overexcited. The primary winding is connected into a star shape, the secondary winding is connected into an open triangle, and the vector sum of the 50Hz fundamental wave potential (positive sequence vector) in the secondary winding is Zero, and the open-ended 150Hz third harmonic (zero sequence vector) output in phase is induced. In a triple frequency transformer, the third harmonic flux and the third harmonic induced potential are required, and the third harmonic flux is a zero-sequence component. If the iron core is made into a five-column type, each phase of the third harmonic magnetic flux has a separate magnetic circuit, the magnetic resistance is small, and the third harmonic magnetic flux and third harmonic induced potential are large, which is 50-55% of the fundamental wave. .
