â–  Wear resistance

Normal > When the material is often subjected to mechanical action such as friction, scraping and grinding during use, it will cause gradual wear on the surface. Therefore, the material's selective wearability is very important. TPU has excellent wear resistance and is more than five times more wear resistant than natural rubber. It is one of the materials of choice for wear resistant products.

Normal > tensile strength up to 70MPa, elongation at break up to 800%. According to the user's requirement, the tensile strength can be 30-70MPa, and the elongation at break can be provided in the range of 300-800%.

â–  Tear performance

Normal > Elastomers are cracked when they are applied, and they are called tears. The tear strength is the ability of the material to resist tearing. In general, the TPU film has a high tear resistance, and the tear strength is very excellent compared with some common rubber and plastics.

â–  Inflection performance

Normal > Many plastic materials are easily broken under repeated periodic stress. TPU products can maintain excellent inflection resistance in different environments, and is one of the best choices for polymer materials.

â–  Hydrolysis resistance

Normal > TPU has good water resistance under turbidity, no obvious hydrolysis occurs within 1 year to 2 years, especially with polyether series. Polyester series will be completely decomposed after immersion for half a year in water at 50°C or for 3 weeks at 70°C or for 3 days to 4 days at 100°C. This is one of the reasons why TPU is suitable as an environmentally friendly material, and products that require constant contact with water are required. The polyether series is recommended.
