Teak furniture grade
Teak itself has different grades of material. Teak furniture identification
Although imitation teak furniture and teak are similar in appearance and density, due to different materials, there are still large differences between the two, which can be identified by the following methods:
1, eye view. Take a small amount of water and sprinkle it on the surface of the furniture. If the moisture is not absorbed, the bead is distributed in teak.
2, smell the smell. Teak wood furniture has a clear wood grain that allows you to feel the natural features. The surface of the furniture is very smooth, the hand feels very delicate, as if it has been soaked in oil, and the fake teak is rough.
3. Combustion experiments. The water-absorbing is the black core lotus. Take a small piece of dry plate for burning. The smoke from the teak is thick and large, while the fake teak is less.
4. Drip test. Teak itself emits a sour taste, similar to the smell after a rice cooker, which is generally absent from fake teak.
