1. Thermal foaming technology:
The hot bubble technology was invented by HP (Hewlett-Packard) and promoted, and this technology is continuously undergoing new development. Its main representative models are HP and NOVAJET.
2. The first generation of micro-piezoelectric technology:
Invented by EPSON, because of its high precision, it can adapt to a wide range of media, and is mainly used in such as EPSON 1520K, COLOR 3000, and PRO 9000 series, and this technology is also used in MUTOH RJ-4000 and RJ- 6000 series, ROLAND HIFI-JET 50/40, MIMAKI jv2-130/860/880 series.
3. The second generation of micro-piezoelectric technology:
Invented by EPSON Corporation, it still maintains the characteristics of high precision of micro-compressors, but the speed has been greatly improved. It is mainly used in the latest PRO 9500 and 10000 of EPSON. Currently, ROLAND FJ-500 is also used in this technology. And FJ-600. MUTOH will also launch new products in the near future.
4. Piezoelectric technology:
Mainly used in large-scale inkjet printers more than 2 meters, such as Witt, Sai Angel series, can be divided into two types.
A: On-demand ink supply technology, that is, the size of the ink droplets is controlled by the nozzle control section and the forming state, and the amount of ink is controlled to complete the combination of colors. There are mainly match angels, SALSA and so on.
The latest INFINITI FY-6180 also uses this nozzle technology.
B: Continuous ink supply technology, that is, the nozzle continuously discharges ink, but there is a partial transmission magnetic field in the head and the medium, and the ink droplet is controlled by changing the size of the magnetic field. The continuous ink supply technology is applied to the blue board and wide board because the ink supply system is more complex and maintenance is not easy.
Among the above three ink-jet printing technologies, thermal foaming technology and micro-piezoelectric technology are applicable to neutral inks and do not have any corrosiveness (reaction with PVC materials). Piezoelectric technology is applicable to solvent-based inks due to equipment manufacturing. The specificity, the ink supply system and the nozzle part can withstand any corrosiveness, so solvent ink can be used.
The thermal bubble technology was invented by HP, and the latest HP5000 series still uses this technology, but HP's latest JetExpress technology has been applied. JetExpress technology is a rapid inkjet printing technology developed based on TJI technology. The fastest speed can reach 52.86 square meters, but only the color line drawings can be sprayed, that is to say, the CAD drawings are used. The advertisement production process is not applicable. The normal production speed should be square meters, but the most concern is the inkjet printing. The cost of production, HP more than the original ink, quality naturally no problem, but the current domestic advertising production price point of view, it is not practical. In addition, the life of the thermal bubbler is shorter because of the thermal bubbler. The heating on the wafer must provide a high heat source, so that the ink can generate bubbles in a very short time, and then the ink is squeezed and ejected, but under a long time the high and low temperature changes In the severe environmental changes of high heat and high pressure in the ink chamber, the nozzle becomes lossy.
