It is understood that lightweight paper is made from American waste paper with high wood pulp content, because it eliminates the need for the production of wood pulp and reduces the amount of waste generated by paper mills, which is conducive to environmental protection. It does not contain fluorescent whitening agents, soft color, a certain degree of protection for eyesight. At the same time, lightweight paper has good texture, folding resistance, and light weight. The weight of printed books is about one-fourth to one-third lower than that of books printed on plain paper.
