It is not only the classic experiment in the pathology experiment course of our school, but also the only pathophysiological experiment in the classical experiment part of the comprehensive experimental course of functional school. At present, this experiment has also been opened in medical colleges and universities in China. But traditional low pressure experimental devices have been used for decades.

The low-pressure experimental device is an essential equipment used in the experiment of observing the pathogenic effect of hypotension in mice. The conventional device uses two rubber tubes to connect the vacuum dryer to the air extractor and the mercury decompressor. Press the power switch of the switchboard and start the air extractor to gradually reduce the air pressure to 507mmHg (equivalent to an altitude of 3000m), stop pumping, keep it for 3~5 minutes, observe and record the activity of the mouse, breathing depth and frequency. And the distal part (ear, lip, tail, sole) skin color and other indicators, and then release the screw clamp on the rubber tube, so that the air pressure returns to normal. Then, the air extractor is turned on again, and the air pressure is gradually reduced to 270 mmHg (equivalent to an altitude of 8000 m) and 150 mmHg (equivalent to an altitude of 10,000 m), and the above steps are repeated. Based on the shortcomings of the prior art and the needs of current medical colleges and research institutions, we have developed a "program-controlled hypobaric hypoxia experiment controller" based on the principle of hypoxia in pathophysiological experimental methods, which can sensitively adjust the pressure in the experimental system. Accurately control changes in air pressure. To enable students to reduce ineffective operations in the experiment, apply limited time and energy to research techniques, observe hypoxia, develop hands-on ability, and consider the mechanism of hypoxia, which can greatly improve the experimental efficiency and improve the experimental results. It not only meets the needs of the pathological and physiological classic experiment "Observation of the role of hypotension in mice", but also can be used in related experiments such as hypoxia, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, and hypoxic preconditioning.
