After more than 4 months of preparation, the first batch of state-owned venture capital fund companies in Qingdao, jointly funded by the central government, local governments, and social private investors, was officially released. Qingdao Haier Electronic Information Venture Capital Fund, Qingdao New Energy Venture Capital Fund, Qingdao Five companies including Bay Hi-Tech Venture Capital Co., Ltd., Qingdao Zhongcheng Venture Capital Co., Ltd. and Rongyin Haiyun Venture Capital Fund Co., Ltd. are on the list. According to reports, for each venture capital company, the central, local and private capital injection of 1: 1: 3 this time the five companies will be able to raise at least 1.3 billion yuan in funds.
The relevant person in charge of the Qingdao Municipal Development and Reform Commission said that Qingdao will establish 10 national-sized venture capital companies in 2010, with a total funding of at least 2.6 billion yuan to support the development of new strategic industries such as biology, new energy, new materials, energy conservation and environmental protection.
