First, instead of the conventional biaxially oriented polypropylene (OPP) film, high-pressure polyethylene is used to blow the PE film into a predominant material because of its readily available hot melt and plasticity. However, the PE film is a material with a weak van der Waals force on the surface, and the additive composition of the wax gives the surface a weak interface layer. Therefore, its adhesion to paper at the lower temperature hot melt state is also relatively small, so this makes this unmodified technology has no practical value. However, when we perform a special strong treatment on one side of the PE film, this situation greatly changes. When we use a non-adhesive laminator to heat-seal the PE film on the color printing paper, the peel strength is obviously improved. It can withstand rubbing and won't blistering, can stand the test of -20°C~120°C, and can withstand rolling, cutting and so on. If we work together with a layer of auxiliary material between the heat roller and the PE film, the product comes out of the machine along with the auxiliary material, and the product is removed from the auxiliary material. The finished product is produced. Due to the difference in auxiliary materials, the same PE film can be used to make a variety of film products such as optical films, matt films, and laser films. And from the visual effects, almost no glue with the OPP film is not the same.
The effect of this technology is obvious:
First, because it does not use glue, its cost reduction is extremely significant. Especially matt film and laser film. The general cost reduction is tens of percent or even higher. Second, it's green security. Since the PE film cost is the packaging material of food, and no glue is used, harmful gases that are easy to volatilize and infiltrate do not exist in the process of production or use of the product. At the same time, after testing, in a 5% caustic soda solution at 80° C., the product was put into a light stirrer, and separation of the film and the paper occurred. The film floated, the paper sinked, and it was easy to recycle. Therefore, it was a greenish degree. The product. In terms of application, as early as two decades ago, there was a web-based (gravure printing) PE extrusion compounding on the market, but the disadvantage of extrusion compounding was that it was impossible to recombine the sheet material and not to make subfilms.
