Q: Due to special reasons, it cannot be printed first, and then varnished. The plastic shell (ABS) of the product needs to be varnished and then printed, but what if the ink is easily scraped off? I have used general ABS ink, metal ink, glass ink and PP water treatment before printing, and it will not work.
Answer: There are three purposes of glazing. 1. Improve the brightness of the product and the grade of the product.
2. Protect the product to achieve the ability to prevent scratches and dirt.
3. Make the product have a high degree of slip, and the friction between the products is small.
Both of the above 2 and 3 need to add wax to the varnish. The wax will float on the surface due to incompatibility with other components of the varnish, which can protect the product and smooth.
But we know that the surface tension of the wax is very low, and whether it is chemical or physical properties are very low, it is not easy to dissolve or chemical reaction with other substances, so it is difficult to print on the wax!
I do n’t know why it is necessary to print after glazing, so I can only propose two solutions to solve this problem:
1. Polish with varnish that does not contain wax, but doing so will result in no smoothness and protection after polishing! It may also cause the varnish not to dry, because sometimes the wax also functions as a film on the surface. Of course, if there is no wax in the varnish, it is very easy to print.
2. If the varnish cannot be solved, only use high-permeability UV ink for printing, because the UV ink has a certain solubility to the wax, and the UV ink will not dry without ultraviolet radiation, and it can be placed for a longer time. So it can solve this problem to a certain extent. I have had successful cases such as matte ink and refractive ink.
3. Of course, if you have the ability to implement EDM or corona treatment, you can also solve this problem, but this requires specialized equipment.
4. I have been working as a technical supervisor in a large printing factory for 10 years. I have paid attention to the glazing problem for two years and have done special research. Practice tells me that the process line of glazing first and printing is extremely dangerous. The reason is that it is difficult to overcome the problem of refocusing. Let ’s talk about the reasons why we ca n’t print first and then glaze. See if there is any other process line that can achieve the same effect.
Tubular Picket Ornamental Fence
A tubular picket fence is a type of fencing that is made up of vertical pickets or posts that are connected by horizontal rails. The pickets are typically made from tubular steel or aluminum, which makes them durable and resistant to rust and corrosion. The fence is designed to provide a secure and attractive barrier around a property, while also allowing for visibility and airflow.
Tubular picket fences come in a variety of styles and designs, including traditional, contemporary, and ornamental. They can be customized to fit any landscape or architectural style, and can be painted or powder-coated in a range of colors to match the surrounding environment.
One of the main advantages of a tubular picket fence is its strength and durability. Tubular picket fences are commonly used in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. They are often used to enclose swimming pools, gardens, and outdoor areas, and can also be used for security and privacy purposes.
