The Yuzhu Peak (6178m), the southern slope of which is currently recognized as the best route for enlightenment by mountaineers all over the country, has caused a lot of confusion for her on the mountain in May this year. At the beginning of October, the Climbing Festival organised by the China Boarding Committee was held at the Yuzhu Peak. A total of 6 groups of 50 people climbed the route from the south slope to the west. The following route information comes from this climbing festival.
1.BC (5050m), located 500 meters below the glacier tongue, near water.
2. From BC to ABC, first a gravel slope of about 30 degrees, after reaching the top, about 20 meters down the left, and then about 300 meters to the north in the valley, you can reach c1, all about 1 to 1. 5 hours.
3. ABC (5300m), located in a valley, leeward. The left snow slope can perform basic ice and snow training. A camp can be set up at abc to store mountain equipment, but you do not need to live.
4. From ABC to C1, from abc to the slope on the northeast side of the slope, there are two large snow slopes in the middle, the slope is 20 degrees to 25 degrees, the first slope height difference is 80 meters, and the second slope height difference is 220 meters. The journey takes 2. 5 hours.
5.C1 (5600m), relatively flat, with a slope of 10 to 15 degrees. After leveling, it can build about 10 tents.
6. C1 is at its peak, the route is relatively long. In the case of less snowfall, there is bright ice near the summit and other places, but the slope does not exceed 30 degrees. After heavy snowfall, the snow depth will exceed 50 centimeters, and the march will consume more energy. This road takes 4 to 5 hours.
7. Peak, flat, and the signage is an iron tower. When descending, it must be pulled down to the right along the original road to prevent it from falling to the east ridge.
