Product barcode authenticity can be identified

Recently, the author learned from the Industrial and Commercial Branch of the Pinggu District, Beijing that a product bar code identification system capable of discriminating the authenticity of commodity bar codes was successfully developed in the Bureau and achieved good results in the business law enforcement practice.

All normal circulation products have a legal “ID card”, which is the internationally-accepted EAN13 international barcode. The bar code of each product of each manufacturer is unique. One of the distinguishing features of counterfeit goods is the manipulation of the bar code of goods, or the forgery or counterfeiting, or the use of illegal, cancelled bar codes. In the past, industrial and commercial law enforcement officers inspected the quality of goods generally through naked eyes, just like a needle in a haystack, which is both inefficient and inefficient. The use of commodity bar code identification system can immediately identify the authenticity of the bar code on the goods package, and then determine whether the product is a problem.
