Advanced flexo plate processing technology

System Labelling, based in Dearside, UK, has achieved a revolutionary breakthrough in flexo plate processing after adopting the Kodak ThermoflexMid platesetter, Hyperflex hybrid amplitude modulation screening software, and PRINERGY EVO Powerpack workflow system. Systems Labelling is installing Kodak's equipment and systems at the completion of the new platemaking center, which greatly reduces the use of solvent products in the pre-press sector.

Systems Labelling currently employs 75 people and works 24 hours a day. With the new pre-press processing facilities put into use, the company's efficiency has been maximized, and its processing capacity has been quadrupled. This means that the company can implement a two-day shift in the prepress department.
