Abstract In the construction of highways and urban roads at various levels, the double-horizontal-shaft forced continuous mixer is widely used in the mixing of various graded mixtures. After introducing the structural characteristics of this type of mixer, and analyzing the power and movement of the blade mixing, the method for determining the main technical parameters of the mixer and the design method used to stabilize the soil plant mixing The actual application situation behind the equipment.

Design of Forced Continuous Mixer with Double Axle

The double axle forced continuous mixer is used in construction of different highway. This paper introduces the structure of the machine, analyzes the mixing oars movement, and expounds the determination of main technical parameters, finally, gives the practical application to stabilized soil mixing plant.

1 The structural characteristics of the mixer are shown in Figure 1. The mixer is mainly composed of a mixing device, a mixing tank, a drive system, a frame and other parts. The stirring device consists of two horizontal shafts, stirring arms, stirring blades and other components, as shown in Figure 2. The mixing tank is composed of shell, lining plate, cover plate and other components. The feed port is set at the upper part of the cover plate at one end of the mixing tank, and the discharge port can be set at the lower part or end of the other end of the mixing tank, as shown in Figure 3.
