Switzerland's Netstal's signature product is its ELION all-electric injection molding machine. Netstal insists on assembly and production in Switzerland, which is very different from many other foreign manufacturers' strategies to set up factories in China. He said that the ELION is arguably the most complete all-electric injection molding machine on the market today. Its features include: 5-point toggle-type clamping structure, high-precision linear guides (fastest air circulation); all motion axes are parallel to ensure Highest production efficiency; patented Gapless Gear Driven Injection Shaft to ensure the highest injection force/highest cycle control accuracy; equipped with prestigious DSP control; equipped with Netstal's latest operator interface; easy to maintain; compact in structure and occupying less space. The ELION series includes 500, 800, 1200, and 1750 with a clamping force of 500-1750 kN.

Reto Morger also revealed that Netstal is currently carrying out various technical reforms, and specific details will be announced later. He added that Netstal has established a subsidiary in China, an important measure for the company to consolidate its position in the Chinese market. However, as the subsidiary is still in its infancy in China, he expects that the 2006 business will grow in tandem with the Chinese economy.
