BASF and Aksu ink business may merge

In 2002, Aksu Nobel's ink division was bought by a company in 2002 and is now renamed Ani Printing Ink Company. In 2004, BASF's printing ink business was acquired by CVC. Recently, there is news that the acquisition of these two ink business actually comes from the same behind-the-scenes financial investment institutions, and the two ink business may be merged in the near future.
