SOEs introduce world-leading recycling packaging technology to fill gaps in the domestic industry

[China Packaging Network News] In the Taicang Industrial Park, a company engaged in the clean and reuse of packaging containers, the entire new equipment to be put into use in October is undergoing final debugging. According to Zhang Lifeng, the person in charge of the company, according to the calculation of all production capacity, 150 tons of pollutants can be reduced annually.

This company is Taicang Liri Packaging Container Co., Ltd. As one of Taicang City's 2015 key projects, this company is also the only member unit of the World Recycling Packaging Federation in China.

Zhang Lifeng had previously been engaged in the recycling of packaging containers. He explained that used drums would have residues and would cause serious pollution to the environment without being treated. Therefore, they were identified as hazardous waste by the environmental protection department. At present, domestic methods for handling used barrels are handled by the use of enterprises that pay a certain amount of environmental protection fees and are handed over to a professional processing company certified by the environmental protection department.

However, the capacity of professional processing companies in the country is far from meeting the market demand. About 88% of waste packaging barrels are not harmless. At the same time, the processing technology of these companies still has a very big gap with developed countries such as Europe and the United States. "Like open barrels, most of them are artificially cleaned, and there are still residual pollutants."

It is reported that Riricorp has introduced the latest technology from Nisshin Container Co., Ltd. Japan. The company's general manager, Taiichiro Oe, introduced that the technology is in a leading position in the world and has not yet been used in Japan. This set of equipment first classifies and collects the residues in the barrels, passes them to related companies for processing, and then uses them; then, according to the different materials and shapes of the barrels, they are burned or cleaned with specific cleaning agents.

How to deal with the waste generated in the process is a key issue. Taiichiro Oe introduced that the waste gas generated by incineration is discharged after being treated without pollution; the waste water generated after cleaning is not discharged to the outside and is directly recycled. Finally, the treated recyclable drums can be re-flowed to the market after testing, plasticity, and painting.

According to reports, the price of reprocessed reusable drums is approximately 70% of the price of new drums. According to the company's current capacity of processing 1.5 million 200L iron drums and plastic drums per year, it can save 30,000 tons of high-quality steel and 3,200 tons of high-quality plastic pellets in a year; save 150 million yuan in production cost for customers and save environmental protection. The cost is 60 million yuan.

Zhang Lifeng introduced that on September 10th, he will propose at the annual meeting of the World Recycling Packaging Federation held in Japan that the Federation will take the lead to fully promote this technology in China and reduce the pollution to the environment.
