The German Foreign Trade Office (theGermanOfficeforForeignTrade) wrote that in the next ten years, China's polyurethane market will grow at an annual growth rate of 10%, and it will be the world's largest supplier. At present, the development speed of China's polyurethane raw material market MDI is already the fastest in the world, reaching 15%, and the global average speed is 7-8%. In spite of this, the German Foreign Trade Office believes that some isocyanate producers still do not pay enough attention to China's thriving market. Therefore, although capacity expansion is already fast, it is very likely that supply will not be able to meet the huge demand by 2010.
