The DPZ-1 intelligent single-stage detonation meter is a highly advanced device designed for precise measurement of detonation speed and delay time in various explosive systems. It features a high-performance 8-bit microprocessor, a built-in panel-type micro printer, digital display, low power consumption, compact size, and lightweight design. The instrument supports both AC and DC power supply, making it versatile for different environments.
This device can measure the detonation speed of explosives, detonating cords, and even detonating tubes using a photodiode or an appropriate probe/sensor. It is capable of measuring the speed of small or high-speed moving objects with ease. After processing the data through the microprocessor, the results such as speed and time are directly displayed on the screen and can be printed out using the integrated micro printer.
The DPZ-1 can store up to 50 sets of data, allowing users to review each measurement, including individual speed and time values, as well as the average speed and average time for multiple readings. Once saved, the data remains intact even after power is turned off, ensuring long-term storage without loss.
The device is equipped with a standard 10MHz crystal frequency, which guarantees high stability and accuracy. Its technical specifications include a wide measurement range from 0.1μs to 100s, a resolution of ±0.001% ±1 digit, and support for automatic identification of different probe modes such as on-off, off-pass, photoelectric, and piezoelectric.
Power requirements are flexible: it operates on AC 220V ±10% or DC 4.5V–6.5V (using four No. 1 batteries). The power consumption is low, at 2.2W when using AC and 2W when using DC. The operating environment allows for temperatures between -10°C and 40°C, with humidity up to 80% at 40°C.
The dimensions of the device are 210 x 68 x 260 mm, and it weighs 2.5 kg without the battery. The DPZ-1 also provides a clear print output format, displaying test data including average time, average speed, and individual measurements for each data point. For example, when measuring detonation speed, the printout includes product batch numbers, target periods, time, and speed values. When measuring tube delay times, some fields may be omitted depending on the application.
