Delia discovered her love for design early on, inspired by her grandmother, whose elegance and taste left a lasting impression on her. "She was elegant in everything she did, from the way she dressed to how she lived," Delia recalls. Her grandmother, a seamstress, surrounded herself with beauty—whether it was the emerald green slubbed silk she used to reupholster her sofa or the delicate porcelain dishes in her cabinets. These moments shaped Delia's appreciation for quality and style from a young age.
Today, Delia brings her own modern interpretation of elegance to every project. She favors clean lines, natural materials, and a neutral base with carefully selected color accents. Her designs reflect a balance between the past and present, creating spaces that are both timeless and contemporary. She draws inspiration from a variety of sources, from museum exhibits to evenings at the ballet, making each space uniquely personal and deeply meaningful.
With a background that includes a brief career as a self-taught auto mechanic and years as a successful lawyer, Delia’s design journey is as diverse as the spaces she creates. Her work has been featured in publications like New York Magazine and Brownstoner, as well as on HGTV and Open House New York. Based in Brooklyn, she lives with her husband and two daughters, finding inspiration in everyday life and the people around her.
